   Have you forgotten your
   loved ones suffering in
   Purgatory?

Faces of the Poor Souls Polaroid photo taken on Nov. 1, 1974, the eve of All Souls Day. Incredibly, human faces appear over Our Lady’s statue. Veronica of the Cross interpreted this and explained that the souls in Purgatory came that Vigil to beg for Masses and prayers in order to hasten their release.

  They are helpless
as they wait.... Just one kind thought, one memory can ease a part of their suffering....  Pray for them.... their power will be great enough to bring you into the Kingdom.
  Our Lady, May 22, 1974

  It doesn't get more potent!
If there's ever a place where prayer is so potent and effective and pleasing to the Good Father it is here at Our Lady of the Roses Shrine.
So reach out to your brothers and sisters suffering in Purgatory with your presence and thoughtful prayers on the holy grounds, made even more timely during the month of the Holy Souls, so designated by the Church.
Believe you me, if you want to bring speedy relief and consolation to any family or friends suffering in Purgatory come to the Shrine on Thursday because, rest assured, the prayers rising here have great impact!

  See you Thursday!
