Our Lady's
45th Anniversary
Rosary Vigil

Saturday, June 27, 2015
Our Lady of the Roses,
Mary Help of Mothers Shrine
7:30 - 10:30 p.m.

"I have prayed for the direction of Heaven, and due to the urgency of the coming Warning and Chastisement, I must continue ahead with the Message of Heaven to the world. The vigils cannot be stopped at this Shrine. The prayers of atonement must not be stopped. It is the will of God."
                             Veronica, Nov. 1, 1973

About 400 pilgrims praying the Holy Rosary for world peace while braving, most probably, the wettest Anniversary Vigil since it all began on June 18, 1970.

The torrential rains or holy water never abated for the nearly 4-hour prayer service. It is for good reason Our Lady identifies this holy Shrine as  "a center of atonement" (Sept. 7, 1974).

Hundreds of heart-felt reparative prayers rising to Heaven.

Each Vigil at 9 p.m., during a solemn interval, the pilgrims kneel and raise their Rosary to Heaven invoking the powerful intercession of Jesus and Mary. The blue chair in the middle of the photo symbolizes the presence of Veronica, who used to sit there and receive the Message from Heaven in ecstasy.

Father Justin McCreedy of University Place, Wash. imparting his priestly blessing.

All the pilgrims raise candles to herald the 45th Anniversary of Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers, repeating the words:

Mary, Light of the World, pray for us
Our Lady of the Roses, pray for us
Mary, Help of Mothers, pray for us

Special gift  After the Vigil, pilgrims lined up to venerate the crucifix on the Rosary and the reliquary that contains a piece of the crucifix that Veronica of the Cross would clutch during her ecstasy, both of which were kissed by Our Lady.

Dear Michael and Lay Order
of St. Michael,
It was a great 45th and well worth the expense of SMWA! I understand that you are carrying a deficit of $4300 from the enormous Anniversary costs. Here's my thoughtful gift (tax-deductible) to help cover the 45th Anniversary gap and to assist with our beloved seer's upcoming 20th Anniversary events.
