Mr. Mangan delivers a fascinating report on the solemn vows of his niece and godchild, Sr. Therese of Merciful Love, a Carmelite cloistered nun and long-time devotee, which included an inspiring audio clip from the veiling ceremony.

Fr. Robert Skurla, who was not scheduled to attend the Banquet because of health reasons, makes a surprise guest appearance to the delight of the crowd.

Tom Bauer, Cape Cod, Mass. organizer, thanks the Baysiders for the many rosaries, Masses, and other prayers that have been offered for his daughter, Mary Rose. As you recall, Mary Rose underwent brain surgery on April 2, then incredibly had another surgery on June 10 for an appendectomy. It's been a tough road, but Mary Rose is making good progress.
