An estimated 1200 pilgrims came from all over the world. Many arrived by airplane, as well as by charter bus. |

Jesus said on September 14, 1985: "The Rosary has always been music to Our hearts." Well, we had a symphony this day when we prayed 19 Rosaries (from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.), many litanies, the long exorcism of St. Michael and sung an abundance of beautiful traditional hymns. |

| Pilgrims bring roses to adorn the Shrine. Our Lady's Shrine helpers distribute them to everyone later in the evening. These roses are blessed by Jesus and Our Lady during the Rosary Vigil and have the power of cure and conversion. |

The sick and suffering were placed in the infirm circle, a roped-off area designated by Jesus in 1980 for special healings. |
