Sunday Holy Hour for priests

January 23, 2005

A BIG clean-up

The Northeast got walloped with a blizzard dropping 1-2 feet of snow in New York.  Wind gusts were up to 50 miles per hour this morning with the wind chill below zero

Michael Mangan, President of SMWA and head of the lay Order of St. Michael (LOSM), gets the men prepared for a big snow clean-up.

Clearing a path

Snow drifts were as high as two feet.

Vincent McDonnell, Vigil Coordinator, brings Our Lady's statue to the excedra.  For stormy winter weather, we use a small statue of Our Lady during the Holy Hours.

We're ready to begin the Holy Hour.

JAN. 23 HOLY HOUR CONTINUED
