Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers
Welcome to Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers Shrine, staffed and directed by St Michael's World Apostolate.
Look for the St Michael's World Apostolate banner when you come.
Before the Holy Hour began, Luis Camacho, lay Order of St. Michael, clears the snow out of the area for the pilgrims.
James Donohue leads the opening prayers.  A 15 decade Rosary, litanies and traditional hymns are prayed and sung during each Holy Hour.  We use a small portable speaker system at the Holy Hours.
The faithful praying for the Pope and priests
Jesus and Our Lady have promised to be present at the sacred grounds as long as one person comes here to pray (even outside the scheduled times of the Rosary Vigils and Holy Hours).

Vincent McDonnell, Vigil Coordinator, leads the pilgrims in traditional hymns. Pilgrims follow along with the Shrine hymn booklet.
Gathering graces through prayer and penance

Deep in prayer
During the final Rosary, Vincent selects five pilgrims to each come up and pray a decade over the microphone.

Vincent then gives the pilgrim a religious book, a rosary, and a special rose that was held in the hand of the Our Lady of the Roses statue.

Our Lady's devotees pass out the blessed roses to the pilgrims.

The Angelus tops off the three Rosaries
Michael Mangan, SMWA president, gives some closing announcements.
At the end of the Holy Hour, pilgrims line up to venerate the Rosary kissed by Our Lady.
James Renda assists pilgrims in the veneration of the Rosary.
After the pilgrims finish venerating the Rosary, the statue is moved to an open area on the sacred grounds. Final prayers close the Holy Hour.
