To whom it may concern,

On January 2, I was taken to the emergency room with an infection and a fever of 105 degrees. I had been sick all week in bed with chills and some strange infection that had taken over my glands in my neck. The doctor in the emergency room had given me antibiotics and strong pain medicine but still sent me home with 105 degree fever. The medicine didn’t work.

That night I cried to my grandmother because I couldn’t take it anymore. My glands in my neck were very bad and so was my fever. About midnight my grandma gave me this card which had a rose on it and told me to pray. This mystical rose petal was mailed to her by my Mom who lives in New York. My grandma told me that if I had faith, the Virgin Mary and Jesus would help me.

I prayed and prayed until about 4 a.m. and then went to bed. As I lay in my bed, a white light illuminated my room. It was dark outside but it made it feel like daytime inside my room.

All of a sudden I felt some warm hands touch my neck and stomach. It was a warm peaceful feeling that I will never forget. I lain there quietly because it gave me a sense of peace and I started to feel better.

I got up and I cried to my grandma saying that these beautiful warm hands helped me. She looked at my neck, and my glands were no longer inflamed. My fever was gone, too.

I wondered why my stomach was touched and last week I had had a procedure done to see what they could find because for many years I suffered with my stomach. They found nothing wrong with me.

It was after that beautiful experience that I was able to eat better without getting sick. I haven’t had any more problems with my stomach. I realize now that those beautiful hands healed my stomach also.

In my heart I knew that something wonderful happened that night. The Virgin Mary was in my room and listened to my prayer. Mary and Jesus’ hands cured me.

I need to share my story with the Church. Maybe others could know that with faith, miracles happen. I believe that if a miracle happened to me, it could happen to you.

I would also like to visit the place in which the Virgin appeared with Her Son.
