A big heads-up to
priests from Our Lady

It’s been a rough year for the Roman Catholic clergy, and for sure our prayers and sacrifices go out to them daily, especially for those of good will. However, there doesn’t appear to be any big relief in sight for their woes. In fact, it could get much worse and even violent if the warnings of Our Lady come to pass.

BAD OMEN

With all the non-stop coverage of the priest sex abuse scandal, we may have overlooked a very bad omen.

You may recall on March 12, a beloved clergyman and a longtime parishioner were brutally gunned down during the 9 o’clock Mass at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Lynbrook, (Long Island) N.Y., by a crazed man.

Father Lawrence Penzes, 50, had just finished his sermon and turned to sit down when Peter John Troy, 34, opened fire from the back of the Church, killing the popular pastor and 73-year old Eileen Tosner who was sitting in the second pew. Although Troy is Catholic, he was not known to attend the Church.

FIRST U.S. CASUALTY

Police are still stumped on what motivated the suspect to target Fr. Penzes, who is apparently the first priest in America to be shot dead in a sanctuary. “There is no prior relationship between Fr. Penzes and Mr. Troy and we have no idea why it appears that he targeted Fr. Penzes for this action,” said Det. Lt. Dennis Farrell, commander of Nassau’s Homicide Squad.

However, any devotee of the Bayside message knows that not only has Our Lady warned us about tragic events like this but has given us the possible cause.

It seems a cold-blooded double murder like this is beyond the work of mere flesh and blood but is the calling card of Lucifer, the prince of darkness, a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44).

Our Lady has explained repeatedly that 666, Lucifer and his cohorts, the forces of antichrist, are walking this earth and will use any man, woman, or child not in the state of grace to do their works of hell. Our Lady has said that these deeds are so evil that they could only be conceived in the mind of Lucifer himself.

CLERGY IN CROSS-HAIRS

As sin multiplies and darkness envelopes the earth, satan’s power is increased and “he has many disciples in human form” (Our Lady, Sept 7, 1977). And predictably, Our Lady says, satan is plotting murder and mayhem for the representatives of Christ: “O My children, your streets will run with blood because you have not listened. Pastors, a great attack is being planned against the priesthood. You will be shot down like targets in the streets” (Sept. 7, 1977).

SHORT EXORCISM

This is another reason why Our Lady has begged us to pray constantly the short exorcism of St. Michael for our protection in the world: 

We have to take seriously and genuinely the dire counsel of Our Lady of the Roses, or “soon, like the steps of a ladder, you will find each prophecy come true. And it will accelerate as we hit the end of time, My children” (Our Lady, Sept. 27, 1986).

What this means is that more and more priests, both here and abroad, will meet a sudden and violent end like the beloved pastor, Fr. Penzes.

And we’re not talking about atheistic, communistic countries like China where violence is a routine measure anyway for religious suppression. We are talking about so-called Catholic or free nations where these attacks will occur.

For example, in March, a Columbian archbishop of Cali was slain by gunmen who approached his vehicle and shot him six times. A few days later, another priest in Columbia was shot dead during Mass at the elevation of the Host.

SATAN'S ASSASINS

Lucifer knows his time is short and one of his chief aims is to destroy the clergy: “There are many now walking the earth who are shells of humans. They will no longer be called humans. They will be called animals. They have given themselves to satan. . . . And there are many in the clergy that shall be shot dead” (Our Lady, Aug. 13, 1977).

Interestingly, In the Lion’s Den, an excellent book that documents the persecution and martyrdom of Christians today, Nina Shea writes: “The shocking, untold story of our time is that more Christians have died this century simply for being Christians than in the first nineteen centuries after the birth of Christ.”

It only stands to reason then that as the hatred for Christians increases, the leaders of Christianity, particularly priests, will become the focus of their demonic rage.

Certainly in recent times we all recognize that the mystique of the priesthood has disappeared. They are no longer untouchable.

WE NEED HOLY PRIESTS

And unless and until they return to the traditional discipline, practice and holiness that marked their state in former years, the respect and awe of their office, especially with this latest scandal, will not be restored. 

On the contrary, priests will be viewed as fair game for those with murderous hearts who antichrist will use to pull the trigger.
